The virgin will be with child, and bear a son, and she shall name him Immanuel, which means ’God is with us’. Isaiah 7, 10-14 God with us! Who can believe it? Such love and concern, for me, in my world? Can I love him in return? Or is my longing for life to be fulfilled without Him? Can life be anything without being with You? O KEY OF DAVID, O ROYAL POWER OF ISRAEL, controlling at your will the gate of heaven: come, break down the prison walls of death for those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, and lead your captive people into freedom.
