Robert Choiniere is a professor of theology at Fordham University. He served as director of pastoral planning for the Diocese of Brooklyn and as a lay minister in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. A former chair of the Conference of Pastoral Planning and Council Development, he is a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in New York City.
