Elizabeth Tenety is an award-winning religion writer and editor and the former editor of The Washington Post's religion website. At the Post, she was responsible for writing and editing digital news and analysis on religion, producing a religion video interview series and managing "On Faith's" website and social media. Her recent work has focused on the impact of Pope Francis' papacy and analysis of American Catholic culture. Tenety studied theology and government at Georgetown University and received her master’s degree in reporting and writing from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
