Casey Stanton serves as co-director of Discerning Deacons to animate synodal listening and discernment processes that help the faithful grow in communion and shared purpose and to contribute to the church’s discernment about women and the diaconate. Previously, she served as adult faith formation minister at Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish in Durham, N.C., and also ministered to those who are in prison.
