The Polish bishops' administrative council met in emergency session May 22 and later admitted the church failed to act against clerical sexual abuse.

"This event was most traumatic for those who were present in the building at the time, as some of the approximate 40 law enforcement agents approached employees in ski masks and SWAT gear," Bishop Burns said in the statement.

The problem is not the priesthood; the problem is clericalism.

The head of the Polish Catholic church, Archbishop Wojciech Polak, has said that the recent revelations in the film called "Tell No One" about sex abuse of minors, is not an attack on the church or of the country (as the Polish Prime Minister has alleged) but it is an instrument to help cleanse the church.
