The Irish bishops have warned that if the Eighth Amendment is repealed, legislation the government plans to introduce would make Ireland one of the most liberal abortion regimes in Europe. 

An estimated 75-100 pro-abortion advocates, some wearing black bandanas over their faces, screamed chants and waved signs, halting the National March for Life until marchers turned around and took a different route through the streets of downtown Ottawa.

The United States can offer this nation’s own grim legacy on abortion as an ominous warning to the Irish people.
