Seven illicit bishops have asked Pope Francis for pardon and requested reconciliation with him and the universal church.

Until now Pope Francis has stood firmly by Bishop Barros.

Cardinal Kevin Farrell announced today that Pope Francis plans to attend the ninth World Meeting of Families, from Aug. 21 to 26,

“I ask forgiveness,” the pope said on his flight from Lima to Rome. “It’s a hurt [caused] without wishing it.”

Jesus “is here in Lima, or wherever you are living, in the routine of your daily life and work.”

People and cheered Pope Francis everywhere he went on this last day of his visit.
