wait not for the sun to rise.
Crow for Peter
through the darkness,
pity him who thrice denied.
 
Rooster, rooster,
Peter’s broken.
Darkness shrouds all earthly scapes.
Time to crow, for
even Peter
may just yet be saved by shame.
