One area in which I hope there is a radical departure rather than continuity is that of the disappearing priesthood. The last two Popes ignored it. I do hope Francis recognizes this horrific problem and takes action. btw I don't understand the repeated references to globalization and the poor. Glabalization has brought millions of jobs to poor countries like China and India. The people it has hurt are the citizens of the developed countries who have seen their jobs outsourced to the poor ones.
