John V. Connorton Jr. talks about the legacy of Ian Paisley, a deeply polarizing figure in Northern Ireland who later became the state's first prime minister. Mr. Connorton is a partner in the law firm of Hawkins, Delafield & Wood in New York City. In recognition of his efforts on behalf of peace in Northern Ireland, Queen Elizabeth II named him an honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
