An excellent presentation. My first confessor was Sylvio Garavaglia S.J., in Above Rocks, Jamaica. He was the first priest who knew me in the Confessional and it didn't ruin our friendship. He taught me that God is closer to me than I am to myself, and yet loves me. Honesty had been a frightening prospect prior to Fr. Gary. Now my focus is on the "good news" that the God we have sought since the beginning of time is WITHIN. Prayer is thus easy and continual. Thank you.
