Catholics arrested in D.C. protesting Trump’s immigration policies

 

Catholic activists gathered in D.C. on July 18 in protest of the government's "inhumane treatment" of immigrant children at the border. The protest culminated in an act of civil disobedience that resulted in the arrest of 70 protesters, including many women religious.

The irony is that Catholics are responsible for the plight of the people of Central America. Catholics are clueless about the Church’s meddling in political and economic affairs over the centuries. Catholicism is a superior moral system but only when it is not involved politically. It has been extremely dysfunctional in the political arena.
