Dan Gheno, an artist whose paintings were featured in the 9/11 issue of America, recently stopped by America house to offer a reflection about art as a meditation on grief and to discuss the imagery in his work.

A most beautiful and thought provoking series of paintings. Your paintings truly reflect our humanity that was shaken to the core that horrible day. Your paintings have been woven into the fabric of my memories of 9/11. Very touching.
