Forty-eight years ago today, thousands of Americans endured 80-degree heat and six-hour waits to pay their respects to the late Robert Kennedy in New York City’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
"Star Wars" is original and surprising. It is witty, not only in its comic dialogue, but in its ability to spoof itself and the science-fiction genre without going for the cheap laugh.
The multitude on the Mall should be a reminder to the nation that it has come a good distance in its journey toward equality and unity and should serve as an inspiration for traveling the rest of the way.
