I am proud to report that America Media has a renewed energy, based in the desire to hold up and promote a civil discourse—especially during these extremely polarized times.

With the marked growth of our media ministry in the past two years, we can be thankful. But as we recount all our growth and accomplishments we need to look forward. Each year, we ask all of our community members to help support our ministry efforts by becoming an America Associate.

Your generosity helps us publish on all our print and digital platforms while we also add new expertise in areas such as economics, politics, international policy and culture.

This year we are also privileged to count among our editorial team four Jesuits under the age of 45, newly assigned by the Jesuit Conference, indicating the importance the Conference has placed on our work. As always our mission is to serve you, our community of leaders.

We provide a resource for spiritual and intellectual nourishment by offering excellent, relevant, unique and accessible content on all platforms while strategically expanding the breadth of our editorial reach and expertise.

If you believe in the importance of a civil discourse led by informed Ignatian perspectives, then I ask you to become an America Associate.

The America Media community works hard every week to address and revitalize issues at the intersection of the church and the world.

Please prayerfully consider a gift to America Media to ensure the ongoing expansion of our Jesuit Media Ministry. We look forward to an exciting year and thank you for your devotion to our community.

Catholic Intelligencia - Work to fix the structure and accountability of the Executive Branch System, more oversight is needed if in the long run you desire the United States of America to remain a Republic 100 years from now. In my opinion, your Presidential position has stealthily evolved in to a quasi-imperial position, right under your noses. Remember that your Republic is the people's thing,... Don't be so superficial, turning a blind-eye to a broken Political System. Roman Catholic America Magazine should refresh itself with GC35, and be a Spur for change. Deal with the root cause. Speak from a Catholic point of view. Remember the Via media, the Catholic middle way... Do so, and the Lord will provide in abundance. Don't be afraid to call sin what it is in public discourse. Have faith, be not afraid... Just my opinion, in Christ, God bless the United States of America...

A “chosen family” has its benefits, but it can also be a way of avoiding the accountability and personal growth found in long-term, committed, familial bonds.
