In the November 5 America Matt Malone, S.J., presents a special report on Faithful Citizenship, the bishops draft document on faith and politics that will be presented to the U.S.C.C.B. conference for its final approval at its November meeting. During the 2004 election season, America wrote two editorials on the role of faith in politics: "The Bishops Platform," from October 27, 2003, and "Catholics and Politics 2004," from May 24-31, 2004.
