This week on “Preach,” the Rev. Peter Wojcik, the pastor of St. Clement Church in Chicago, Ill., preaches for the Sixth Sunday of Easter, Year B, and shares strategies for preaching to a parish of mostly young adults.
“His presence brings prestige to our nation and to the entire Group of 7. It is the first time that a pope will participate in the work of the G7,” Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said.
“Many conflicting, divergent and often contradictory views of the human person have found wide acceptance … they have led to holders of traditional theories being cancelled or even losing their jobs,” the bishops said.

It also strikes me that the vibrancy of the pro-life movement and the fact that nearly everyone shown in that video is under the age of thirty-five! I think that is the direct fruit of the papacy of John Paul II and re-affirms why he will be beatified so soon. I recently "ruffled some feathers" by suggesting that Pope John Paul would be beatified because some very smart people realize that, internal Church politics notwithstanding, the "stamp" JP II gave to the Church in the latter 20th century is a lasting impact, particularly on the young! This video is evidence, to my eyes, of that!
