Cardinal Jorge Lozano Barragan, who had been quoted by Pontifex as saying that gays and lesbians could not "enter the Reign of God," says that he has been misquoted.  After his remarks were made public in Pontifex and made several Italian papers (not to mention AP), the Vatican responded.  "This is what the Word of God says, it isn't what I said," Cardinal Lozano Barragán said. "Now, I have never said that a particular homosexual cannot be saved, because he can be saved."  Read the new story here on Zenit .

Nos. 2358 and 2359 state: "The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial.
 
Note to Barragan et al:  they only reason this inclination is "a trial" is because of the attitude of people like you.  I do not suffer from "same-sex disorder."  I suffer from the attitudes, biases, prejudices and hate of both society and church.

Like I told you in the first two posts you did on the Cardinal - media slice and dice.  This is what they always do looking for a headline.  When the media reports such statements they should be taken skeptically.
