A lovely video - I want to be a monk in my next life! :-) ... actually, I want to be a monk in this life, it's just my task to figure out how to do it on this side (the outside) of the monastery walls. The monks are a great help to me.

Beth, why wait? There is a group of women who gather regularly at the Abbey under the guidance of Dom John Eudes. One is a very fine iconographer who painted two exquisite crucifixes, one of which is in the abbey. Another is a tireless parish administrator. You can contact the monks and ask about this group if you like. The Abbey's website is www.geneseeabbey.org.
