I'm happy to report that Masswepray (see post below) the strange video game, is a hoax, or at least their website today leads you to a weird place.  On the other hand, the Talking Rosary is not.

I have mixed feelings about the talking rosary.  THe rosary is one of things I am returning to as I get older - at 4 am or even as I'm walking my dog around the neighborhood - it is a good way to return me to a more reasonble place than my anxiety or just spacedness.  I like mulling over the words, oftentimes taking quite awhile to get from one prayer to the next.
If I had never learned this in my early childhood, by rote, I doubt that I would have picked it up later in life ...
So - the idea of a flash-y, elecronic "toy" to teach the prayers of the rosary doesn't appeal to me.  Then again, I don't like the idea of teaching a young child the sounds of farm animals via these toys.  But teaching a young child the prayers of the rosary does.

In some states, the thinking seems to be that the way to “solve” this problem is by weakening the laws. Catholics should resist those efforts.

The great enemy of faith is not intelligence, nor is it reason, as some continue obsessively to repeat, Pope Francis said in his general audience today. The great enemy of faith is fear.
