My partner Joe (He was named after St. Joseph.)tells people that he saw West Side Story about 20 times. I don't know if this is true or not. It could be. He grew up in Lodi, New Jersey which is very close to Manhattan. I do know that he has seen the movie many times. The song Something's Coming captures the spirit of Advent wonderfully. It is time to see West Side Story again.

About a dozen religious leaders from the San Diego area, including Bishop Michael Pham, visited federal immigration court on Friday “to provide some sense of presence.”
In a time of increasing disaffiliation from and disillusionment with the institutional church, a new theological perspective on the church is needed—one that places Jesus’ own teaching at the center.
