One of the better blogs on things religious is Therese Borchard’s "Beyond Blue," hosted by Beliefnet.com. Nominally, it is about the topic of depression (which Borchard had suffered from, and, also, discussed in last week’s America article, "Shadows in Prayer" "Shadows" ). More broadly, it is about the life of faith. Borchard is the author of a fun book with the terrific title of "The Imperfect Mom," and, like many moms, she always has a keen take on the pressures that are facing American children today. Here she is riffing, to great effect, on integrity, with a nod to Hannah Montana. "Beyond Blue" And if you don’t know who Hannah Montana is, then, well, I guess you don’t know any girls under the age of 12. But even if you don’t, check out her commentary about bringing your actions in line with your words and your best intentions. As E.M. Forster said in another, Youtubeless, age, "Only connect."
