With an important election coming in 2024, white Christian nationalism is emerging as a serious threat to our democracy.

Vatican’s Secretariat for the Synod of Bishops has provided two guiding questions regarding the “successes and distresses” and “structures and organization“ of the church to discuss ahead of the second session of the synod.

“We will all have to become accustomed to accepting the fact that if a priest gives this type of simple blessing, he is not a heretic,” a new press release from the Vatican’s doctrine office states.
