Joe Copeland is a Seattle-based journalist who retired in 2019 from Cascade PBS (then known as Crosscut/Cascade Public Media). He is developing a website about atomic bomb survivors, www.hiroshimastories.com. A recipient of a Fulbright grant to research the survivors' work for peace, he is the author of a 2015 ebook, Peace Quest: The Survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and is working on a manuscript about the legacy of the survivors. He is a member of the nuclear weapons task force of Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility.
