José Maria Brito, S.J., a Jesuit priest of the Portuguese province, was the founding editor-in-chief and director of Ponto SJ. Presently, he works in pastoral ministry in the south-central city of Évora, where he supports the work of the diocesan office for family life, and is chaplain to the Christian Life Community.
