President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, helped a Washington food kitchen prepare Thanksgiving meals for the needy before they left town to resume their family tradition of spending the holiday on tiny Nantucket Island.
"Dallas, I'm here to say we must reject such despair. I'm here to insist that we are not as divided as we seem," President Obama said.
"Fear does funny things. Fear can lead us to lash out against those who are different. Or lead us to try to get some sinister other under control," Obama said at the annual National Prayer Breakfast.
