Eli McCarthy, Ph.D., teaches at Georgetown University, in Washington, in Justice and Peace Studies. From 2012 to 2020, he served as the director of justice and peace for the Conference of Major Superiors of Men, the leadership conference of all U.S. Catholic men’s religious orders. He also coordinates the D.C. Peace Team, which offers training in nonviolent communication, restorative justice and bystander intervention.
