Wanted: Coordinator of Youth Formation
The Community of the Good Shepherd is searching for a creative youth formation coordinator. A Masters Degree with a concentration in catechesis is expected. References are required. The job requires the ability to develop a comprehensive ministry to the youth (Jr. High and High school) using the Bishops’ “Renewing the Vision-A framework for Catholic Youth Ministry.” It also requires the ability to work with adult volunteers who will assist the coordinator with the ministry and a committee of consulters who help envision the program. The applicant should bring to the interview ideas on how to minister to those who are active and how to reach out to those who are not. The coordinator will report to the parish’s director of education and formation and through the director, to the pastor.
